This course will focus on the language skills you need to improve, such as speaking or writing, as well as vocabulary and grammar.
English for medical studies
Planning to study medicine? This course will help you improve your academic skills, for example understanding lectures, taking notes, giving presentations, writing reports and reading long texts. Suitable for you if your English level is B2 (upper-intermediate) or above.
English for nursing studies
Are you planning a career in healthcare and nursing? This course can help you, whether you are preparing to study, or already studying, at a college or university. The course focuses on effective communication skills, and includes a topics such as dealing with patients, giving good and bad news, writing notes or emails, as well as vocabulary and grammar. Suitable for you if you have a basic level of English (minimum A2/elementary).
English for carers
Are you working as a carer in a care home, nursing home or private home? Do you need to improve your English to communicate effectively with service users and colleagues? Are you planning to work in care, but need to improve your English first? This course is for you!
Topics include: effective communication, personal care, medication, health and safety.
